This homemade septic solution is a tried-and-true method I’ve used for years in my RV. It’s safe for both the plumbing and the black tank, making the process of breaking down waste and dumping the tank much easier and more pleasant. It also helps significantly reduce odors commonly associated with RV septic systems.

How to Use:

• Pour 1–2 cups of the solution directly into the toilet after one to two full days of use, followed by a full bowl of water to ensure it enters the septic tank effectively.
• Avoid using this solution in an empty tank, as it works best with some waste already present.
• For a full tank (approximately 50 gallons), one dose will be sufficient until the next dump.
• If you have hookups or are dumping daily, use this solution Once every 10 days to keep the tank clean and fresh.
